Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Kope-Medics’ Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement acknowledges the obligation of all businesses to prevent slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to addressing these issues within our business and supply chains.
Modern slavery includes trafficking, forced labour, servitude, and slavery. As leading recruitment experts, we take our responsibility seriously, ensuring our processes are designed to detect and address exploitation. This is especially relevant in sectors such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, and health and social care.
This statement outlines Kope-Medics’ compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the steps we take to ensure no slavery or human trafficking occurs within our organisation or supply chains.

Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
Due Diligence Process
Kope-Medics ensures strict compliance checks for all candidates, verifying their identity and right to work. We perform due diligence on our supply chains and continuously improve these processes.
Concerns about modern slavery or trafficking are escalated through our safeguarding process and addressed with relevant agencies such as the Local Authority and Police.
Training and Awareness
All Kope-Medics staff are expected to act in compliance with laws and regulations. Policies and procedures are reviewed to ensure access to information and support regarding human trafficking, forced labour, servitude, and slavery. Additional training is provided as needed.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Kope-Medics’ slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 March 2018.
